Funny Mountain Tau Fu Fah @ Ipoh, Perak
Before I went over to Ipoh my friend tell me that I must try the tau fu fah from this shop. He told me this shop tau fu fah is famous in Ipoh and there is a lot of ppl queuing up for it.
While we are on the way to go out to find the chicken rice shop we passby this shop and indeed there is a lot of ppl queuing outside the shop.
We send our tourist guide to go to thru the crowd to snatch a bow for us to try. RLOL!
The verdict for this tau fu fah is that the texture of the tau fu fah is very smooth and it was not too soft. Is like a lil bit milder springy. The sweetness is not overpowering the taste of the original soy milk taste.

Ong Kee Taugeh Chicken Rice @ Ipoh, Perak
This was the first shop of chicken rice that we went too. RLOL! Alright so this is our first chicken rice stop in Ipoh.
We ordered steamed chicken, taugeh, curry chicken fish ball soup and hor fun soup. My friend wanted to order their steamed kampung chicken but it was out of stock so we settle with normal chicken.
The steamed chicken, it was not as meaty as Lou Wong but meat here is springier. It was less fat on the meat but still it was very juicy.
I love love their chicken curry. It was not the soupy type of curry, the santan that in it was just right to give the 'lemak' taste to it. Normally if there is a lot of santan in the curry you won't want to have more after a few pieces. The fragrance of the spices is well balance. By the look of it yes it was spicy but it was good.
The taugeh is very crunchy and fat! RLOL! I guess all the taugeh in Ipoh is fat and short.
The fish ball is very springy and smooth
The texture of the hor fun there use here is different what they have in Lou Wong. I think it was thinner in my opinion.

Restaurant Lou Wong Tauge Chicken @ Ipoh, Perak
My first stop(RLOL! Mixed up! got corrected by our personal tour guide) second stop during my last trip to Ipoh was Restaurant Lou Wong Tauge Chicken, which is a walking distance from my hotel.
We ordered steamed chicken, tauge, and hor fun soup. The chicken is very meaty and juicy. The meat is kind of springy.
Their beans sprout is short and fat. It was very juicy and sweet and crunchy. They blanch it with just plain water an drizzle with sauce. Simple and flavorful. The beans sprout is different from out beans sprout. The bean sprouts in kuching is long and thin. The sweetness is not to the par.
The Hor Fun soup is very tasty and the hor fun is very thin and smooth. The Hor Fun is a bit to soft. I like my hor fun to have that lil bit of springy feel.

La Cucina @ Pullman Kuala Lumpur Bangsar
I had lunch at La Cucina @ Pullman KL on my last trip to KL. La Cucina is the newly launched urban dining specialty restaurant with an eclectic Mediterranean inspired cuisine. The restaurant is highlighted with warm orange hues that complement the home-style table setting. It is an open concept restaurant. Where you will be able to watch how their chef prepare your meal. Is a nice place to bring your client or a love one to dine there.

Americano @ Soi 19, Bangkok
Just next to my hotel (First House Hotel), there is a small stall that sell coffee. I did not notice it till the day before we leave. I saw ppl queueing so I went to see what are they queueing for. Got excited! I ordered my Americano! Yippeeee "Kopi O Kosong" Ang Mo Style!
The coffee with very aromatic and it has that dark roast bittersweet. RLOL it was kind of too bitter for me. Cause i ordered my coffee without sugar. Should have gotten the one with sugar. Anyway it was a good coffee!

Curly Icecream @ Jumbo Kebab, Platinum Mall, Bangkok
Curly cone? Have you ever seen one like that? I know I have not.
We were walking around Platinum Mall after it closed one of the nite. When I walk pass by Jumbo Kebab join I saw there is something curly hanging on the side of the shop. I was wondering what is that?
When I look over to the Icecream machine the guy was pumping icecream into the curly cone. First time to see such an interesting shape cone
I decided to get one to try out.
The Icecream is soft and creamy and the cone is crunchy with a lil bit of saltiness on the last note. Give it a try!

Cafe Latte @ Starbucks, Bangkok
As I was passing by Starbucks one night, my mom ask me how come I don't wan to go in. RLOL! Mommy will always be mommy. Although she always said starbucks coffee is so expensive still she know I haven't had my coffee fix for few days. I got tempted and go into starbucks like a happy bear.
All the menu are almost 90% the same. Which caught my eyes is that I can substitute milk with soy milk. So I ordered my Latte with soy milk.
The taste is not as creamy as milk but for vegetarian or vegan you need those caffeine fix there is this option for you to try. I did not hate it nor did I like it.

7-Eleven Food @ Bangkok
When you step into any 7-eleven in Bangkok you feel like you are in food heaven. I was so overwhelmed by the food selection there. To bad I lost part of my 7-eleven meal picture. Sadness. Those that is missing is my dinner meal where we have pork rice and teriyaki rice. The price of the food is not that expensive. Per pack is about RM 3 - RM 4. You can request them to heat it up for you.
This is what I have on my phone. Most of it is dessert and some snacks.
This is my favorites of all the snack that I have tried from 7-Eleven. The cream in the puff is so creamy. When you bite into it the cream inside the puff burst out with creaminess and vanilla. One thing for sure the sweetness is just right. I can down many many packet of this at one sitting. Me and CY went back to 7-E the night before we went back to tabao. So sad that there is only 2 pack left. Next round when i go back I will definitely eat this again.
Next is the this cute sandwiches, there have a lot of flavor. The one I like most is Ham and Pork Floss. Each of this cost around RM 1. Very cheap!
Tuna and Shredded Chicken Bun, this could be my less favorites among all. The taste of it is not bad but the filling is too lil. RLOL but what can I complain when the price of this is on RM2.20. The bun is shaped like a mushroom, to cute to be eaten.
One of the night me and CY was whatsapping She was asking me I am asleep, and if i am tired. I was playing games that time. Since I was not sleepy so I ask her if she want to go 7-eleven she said yes. Of we go to 7-Eleven to search for food.
That is when I introduce Eclair Cream to CY and get her hooked. I bought the rice burger. The patties was really nice but a bit to spicy for me. The meat is tender and juicy. Very well marinated.
The Double Black Soy Bean Milk is creamy and not to sweet.
Next up is street food around my hotel.

Hong Kong 2014 - Day 2 : Joy Hing Roasted Meat 再興燒臘飯店
Cantonese is famous for their BBQ pork, duck and goose. One thing that you must eat when you are in Hong Kong is their Cantonese BBQ. For second day dinner we decided to find some good cantonese BBQ shop. We found a place where it was recommended by a lot of the local in OpenRice.
Quoted from Wikipedia history of Joy Hing Roasted Meat.
When we reach the shop we wanted BBQ goose but it was not available. The owner said if we want we can order and come back tomorrow. The shop is really small. We are sitted at the corner there are 5 of us. We squeezed into the corner and we can't even turn around. This is a place where you eat and go there is no place for you to hang out and sit around.
We ordered different type of mix so we can try each of the type. Their Char Siew is really good. It was BBQ to perfection it was not dry and very tender and it has the well balance of sweetness and saltiness. You can taste the smokey taste on it. The BBQ duck and chicken is really good too. It was well done and not over cooked. The meat is tender and juicy.

The business, run by a Teochew family, dates back to the late Qing Dynasty when the family started the first Cantonese Roasted Shop in Guangdong. The business moved to Heard Street, Wanchai, Hong Kong at the turn of the 20th Century as a dai pai dong, an open-air food stall.[1]Its operation was terminated during the invasion of Japanese Troops in Hong Kong in 1941. After the war, it was named as Fuk Hing literally renaissance. The present name, Joy Hing, literally referring to "continuity of prosperity", was given a decade later, based on a superstitious thought that it could help prosper its business. Since then, the style of cooking remained largely unchanged. With the rapid development of Wanchai into one of the Central Business Districts, the location of its old food stall was placed under removal order in 1980s. The shop moved to its current premises on Hennessy Road at the time.
