Earth Hour @ Grand Margherita Hotel, Kuching

This year is the second time I celebrate earth hour.  The first time was in 2009, I was attending a beauty pageant contest.  It was fun to dine in dark with only a dim light from candle.

This year I went dinner with Rose and Gladys.  While waiting for the gals to get ready for the nite out I went to Rajang Bar for a drinks.

 

Lowenbrau Beer

This is the first time I had this.  The beer is so refreshing.  It was not bitter at all.

 The Orchid Garden Coffee House buffet has many choices of food to choose from.  I was so sad that I cannot try all of them I only finish one part of it only.  Trying to stuff myself with all the good food but I gave up at last cause my tummy too full to stuff with more good food.  As it was the last day for their Japanesse, Korean and China buffet dinner promotion.  We had our dinner there

After the stuffing ourself with all the good food.  We move over to Rajang Bar to have some drinks.  They are having a promotion that nite that who ever wearing black will have first glass of Guinness for free.

John's Place @ Jalan Temple, Kuching

I have found a new place for lunch.  We have been going back there for so many times that i have lost count.   Well I have been wanting to update my blog on their food but I was busy for the past few months.

John's Place is situate at Temple Street.  The place is just next to Harbour View Hotel.

 Their Singapore Fried Rice is great.  It was serve with Big Prawn and Fried Squid ring.

The food price here is very reasonable. Good place to hang out with friends.

The King's Arm @ Jalan Pertanak

The King's Arm was a great place to hang out with great music. They have just appointed a new chef. Best of all is that their kitchen close at 1am!  When you party at King's Arm you don't have to worry that you need to leave the place in the midst of hyper partying.  As there is always be food there to filled up your tummy.  Good News is that King's Arm has just got them self a new chef, Mohd Ehsan.

CooCooRon's Cafe @ Jalan Gold Jade

My friend and partner has taken over the CooCooRon"s Cafe at Gold Jade Road.  We will be expecting lotsa upgrading and new menu coming up real soon.  Was invited to their menu photography two weeks ago and I get to try some of the food.They have a list of menu to choose from.  You can have try on their western food or if you prefer their local/asian delicacies.  All their food does not have added MSG.

That place is cozy and fun.  It is a fun place for friends gatherings and hang out or it can be a nice place to have a quiet place to have a cup of tea and surf thru their free wifi.
