Kuching Festival Food Fair 2012 (Part 1)

Yeah is that time of the year again when kuchingites will gather around Dewan Masyarakat Kuching Selatan for the delicious food.  I can see that the stall is getting more and more each year.  This year I heard from somebody there is about 200+ stall selling food.  Last year is around 150+ stall only.  I wonder if next year it will hit the no. 300.

I can see there is lotsa stall selling almost the same things that is Taiwan sausage.   It make not that special anymore.

So this is the food that I have tried for the pass two weeks.

Japanesse Cotton Cheese Cakes @ Gingerbread House

Durian Puff (Love it!!!)

Lao Sa Bao @ Imperial Duck (Love It!!!)

Fried Milk (To sweet for my liking)

Sausage @ German Recipe (So So only)

Creme Brulee @ Raintree (Nice)

This is the food that I will never try!  Smelly Tofu.  Trust me it is smelly!

BCCK Ramdhan Buffet

First of all I would to thank Mike from BCCK for giving me an opportunity to enjoy the buffet at BCCK. BCCK has never fail to put up surprises on their buffet table.  This year they serve foods from the very Kampung food to international food.  You will be surprise to find something that you will never find at the other buffet table (correct me if i am wrong.  Well atleast i have never seen this dish has been serve in any of the buffet).  It was a surprise for me. :)

The buffet venue is held at the Great Hall.  Which is large spacious place.

I have few slices of this bread.  If I am not stuff with the other food I would wan to finish the whole loaf of this bread.  All I can say about this bread is SUPERB!

When go round the buffet table......my mouth was salivating to see all the good food.  I am sorry that some of my picture was not that good.  So it was not posted in here (blame it on my camera).

Nom Nom Month

Starting from July 21st it will be eating month for me.....from ramadhan buffet to Kuching festival after that will be hari raya open house..... Next post will about all that....watch out for the new post!

Imagine I went there 3 nites in a row.  First night was suggested by my friend to try out the burger.  The following night I went there with Monica as I was craving for their Fried Mushroom and tonight I went back there again with my mom for another round of beef burger.

I love their beef burger! It was really really good!
