If I had 10 AirAsia Free Seats, I would go to Hong Kong and I'd bring along my mom and mom's 2 sisters, my friend who has been there for me when I am down and who is there to celebrate my up time. My childhood friend who has been dreaming to travel internationally and my follower who has been loyal to me.
My mom always love to watch Hong Kong drama series and she always tell that one of this day she wanted to visit Hong Kong exprience it herself. I have been to Hong Kong beginning of this year but I would love to bring her with me if I have the 10 free seats.

Hong Kong 2014 - Day 2 : Joy Hing Roasted Meat 再興燒臘飯店
Cantonese is famous for their BBQ pork, duck and goose. One thing that you must eat when you are in Hong Kong is their Cantonese BBQ. For second day dinner we decided to find some good cantonese BBQ shop. We found a place where it was recommended by a lot of the local in OpenRice.
Quoted from Wikipedia history of Joy Hing Roasted Meat.
When we reach the shop we wanted BBQ goose but it was not available. The owner said if we want we can order and come back tomorrow. The shop is really small. We are sitted at the corner there are 5 of us. We squeezed into the corner and we can't even turn around. This is a place where you eat and go there is no place for you to hang out and sit around.
We ordered different type of mix so we can try each of the type. Their Char Siew is really good. It was BBQ to perfection it was not dry and very tender and it has the well balance of sweetness and saltiness. You can taste the smokey taste on it. The BBQ duck and chicken is really good too. It was well done and not over cooked. The meat is tender and juicy.
Address : 265-267, Hennessy Road, Wanchai, Hong Kong Island

The business, run by a Teochew family, dates back to the late Qing Dynasty when the family started the first Cantonese Roasted Shop in Guangdong. The business moved to Heard Street, Wanchai, Hong Kong at the turn of the 20th Century as a dai pai dong, an open-air food stall.[1]Its operation was terminated during the invasion of Japanese Troops in Hong Kong in 1941. After the war, it was named as Fuk Hing literally renaissance. The present name, Joy Hing, literally referring to "continuity of prosperity", was given a decade later, based on a superstitious thought that it could help prosper its business. Since then, the style of cooking remained largely unchanged. With the rapid development of Wanchai into one of the Central Business Districts, the location of its old food stall was placed under removal order in 1980s. The shop moved to its current premises on Hennessy Road at the time.

Hong Kong 2014 - Day 2 : Lan Fong Yuen (蘭芳園)
Next stop is Lan Fong Yuen (蘭芳園) to have our brunch Gage Street. We took more than hour to find the place. From a lot of review on the net they are famous for their milk tea which is known as pantyhose milk tea in Hong Kong (絲襪奶茶). Basically is something like our Teh C / Teh C Peng here.
I love the Chicken Wing with Rou Ting Noodles. Rou Ting mean pork cubes, this is the fresh Rou Ting. The one we have in malaysia are mostly in can.

Hong Kong 2014 - Day 2 : Wong Tai Sin Temple (王大仙)
Hong Kong trip 2nd day we go around Chong Wan or Chung Wan (中環) or Central in English. According to Wikipedia, Central was of the district in Victoria City. Quoted from Wikipedia "The English name Central became prevalent after the Island Line of the MTR metro system was built in early 1980s, and the connected stations of Pedder and Chater renamed as Central. On some older maps, it and the area to its west are named Kwan Tai Lo (羣帶路) below Victoria Peak. It formed a channel, Chung Mun (中門), with Tsim Sha Tsui, on the sea route along the coast of southern China. The eastern part of Central District has been known as Admiralty since the completion of Admiralty Station in the early 1980s.".
As the central business district of Hong Kong, many multinational financial services corporations have their headquarters in the area. Consulates general and consulates of many countries are also located in this area, as is Government Hill, the site of the government headquarters. The area, with its proximity to Victoria Harbour, has served as the centre of trade and financial activities from the earliest days of the British colonial era in 1841, and continues to flourish and serve as the administrative capital after the transfer of sovereignty to China in 1997.
First stop is Wong Tai Sin, from all the HK drama I watch whenever they go to temple it will be this temple or whenever they give some one talisman it will be from this temple.
This is the deity (月下老人) that all the youngster will pray to when they want to find a life partner. RLOL! I don't want to miss my chance to pray for a great life partner.
The ritual of the prayer is that we need to follow the steps as the below picture. It is all in chinese and i don't understand a single word there. Luckily I got my friend with me who help me. We need to tie the red rope to the rope that connect the ribbon of the couple.
Hope I will meet the man of my dream. RLOL

Kuching Food Festival 2014 - Part 6 : Chocolate Sausages?
I receive a msg on my gtalk earlier today from my friend. She said Kuching Food Fest tonight? RLOL the rest is history. So I just got back from the fest with Rowena. We did not try much tonight as my mom has prepared dinner for me. This is Rowena first time this year. So we walk around most of the time.
First stop is Rowena wanted BBQ Corn, so while waiting for the corn I saw something really really tempting on the BBQ Stove! I will come back and try it.
I went back to the Incredible Hog stall again today. I keep on thinking about the Chocolate Cheese Sausage. The chocolates sausage is not really to my liking as there sweetness fragrant to it. If i am not wrong is vanilla. I wish that that the chocolate is dark bitter chocolate which will go better with the saltiness of the sausage. The Cheese sausage was ok.
While we are queueing for the Frozen soil, I saw the banner next to that stall look tempting. Austrian BBQ! I not down on my list to try this stall next week.
I pass by this stall many times but I did not have a look on it as the menu was all in chinese I am not sure what they are selling. I only hear the owner said fried pork ribs. Me and Rowena decided to try the fried pork ribs. It was ok as the pork ribs is a lil to dry. There have 6 types of seasoning to choose from. We had the spicy seasoning. If you love fried food you should give it a try.
It seems like this year a lot of stall selling things in flower pot. It's kind of crazy right? Frozen Soil, Bonzai Ice Cream. The one that cause my attention is Pot Mashed Potato. Another stall selling their product in a flower pot. Decided to give it a try since Ice Cream is not really my things. The Mashed Potato is good. I wonder if they use instant potato. Cheese sauce is good, very cheesy and creamy.I actually I am quite annoyed with this stall though. When I ask for another plastic spoon they said cannot. Come on it is just a small plastic spoon how much would it cost right?
I have been putting off to try the fried octopus the last feel trips. Tonight Rowena went to buy it from the stall. The Octopus is kind of chewy and it has a lot of pepper salt on it. It will be good if I have a beer to go with it.
I wonder will there be any Part 7? Comment down below if you want to see Part 7 of the Kuching Food Festival post.

Kuching Food Festival 2014 - Part 5 : Fried Watermelon?
And again, I went to Kuching Food Festival (The People Festival 2014) yesterday evening after work. I didn't know they have change the name to The People Festival.
The night before I overheard a girl was telling her friend about fried watermelon. My trip to the fest is to hunt for fried watermelon. It was so hard to find, as the signboard is kind of high up but I still manage to find it.
The watermelon is coated with breadcrumb coating. The outside is crunchy and the watermelon inside soft and juicy. One think lack is that the watermelon is not sweet enough. Can't complaint much as sometimes is the watermelon that is not sweet. It was sprinkled with preserved plum powder so it has that sweet and sour outside.
When we passby the Otak Otak stall opposite the fried watermelon stall Marie decided to try the Otak Otak. We ordered the Fish Otak Otak. It was ok and a bit spicy.
